Sandra E. Lee

Sandy Lee, born Sandra Elizabeth Zehner, ended her tenacious battle with Alzheimer's on October 11th 2021, returning to the loving arms of Jesus. She had previously, and proudly won a bold battle with breast cancer.

Sandra met the love of her life, Robert Eugene Lee, while both of them attended Springfield High School, from which they graduated. The pair were wed on February 22th 1957, Celebrating A total of 64 years with Bob, Sandy is survived by her brother, Thomas, daughters Kimberly (Jeff), Teri (Todd), and son Robert Jr (Tina), whom blessed her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Linda and Jerry Lynn, as well as her parents, Harold and Virginia Adams Zehner.

Motherhood, travel, and literature were among her greatest passions in life, and her smile enchanted anyone lucky enough to have known her. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date, and cremation will take place at Newcomer of Akron. The family would like to thank the services of Kindred Hospice.
