Sandra L. Myers

Sandra L. Myers, 73, of Springfield Township, passed away with family by her side on February 19, 2022. She was born in Akron on December 7, 1948 to the late Lawrence and Vera Valenti. Sandra was a real estate agent with Twin Oaks Realty for ten years before taking a position with the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority. She retired from the city after 15 years of service.
Sandra was a member of the Junior Women's Civic Club. She had many interests, including golfing, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her daughters. Above all, she loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She had many fond memories of trips with family to Florida, Arizona, Las Vegas, Punta Cana and more. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Bill Myers; daughters, Kimberly (Matthew) Schwarz, Kari (Greg) Miller, and Kelly (Wayne) Fisher; grandchildren, Temperance and Zander Schwarz, Dylan and Ashlyn Miller, Rylie and Piper Fisher; sisters-in-law, Mary Stevenor and Barbara Riddle; and many other relatives and friends.
Sandra's life will be celebrated on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at the John Torok Community Center, 4224 Massillon Rd., in Green.
