Sandra L. Younkin

Sandra L. Younkin, 72, of Venice, Florida, formerly of Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 2, 2019. Sandra was born in Pennsylvania on July 16, 1946. She retired from Jet Rubber Company. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed spending time out doors, reading, and working on puzzles. She loved holidays with her loved ones, especially Christmas. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Younkin; father, William Moore; mother, Audrey Edeburn; and brothers, Bill and Rodney Moore. She will be deeply missed by her children, Anna Duffy, RuthAnn Martin, Denise (Mark) McCoy, Robin (John) Grabel, Clint Anchors, and Wesley Wimer; brothers, Terry (Sherri), Jim (Vicki), and Delbert (Denise) Moore; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
