Scott Cohoe
February 16, 1957 — October 6, 2020
Scott Cohoe, 63, passed away October 6, 2020 after a heroic battle with cancer. Born in Rochester, NY to George and Shirley (Hurst) Cohoe he was an Akron area resident for most of his life. Scott was a builder and general contractor, specializing in painting, plumbing, electrical and remodeling. He enjoyed traveling, working puzzles and spending time with his family and friends.
Scott will be sadly missed by wife, Paula Thrasher; brother; Gary Cohoe; nephew, Grant Cohoe; aunt, Joyce Biesecker; cousins, Brian, Keith, Bruce.
The family wishes to thank hematologist/oncologist, Dr. Osei-Tutu Owusu and the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center for their compassionate and loving care of Scott.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a private memorial at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Scott's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
