Scotty Robert Woods Jr.

Scotty Robert Woods, Jr., 50, of Tallmadge, passed away suddenly on February 22, 2019. He was born in Akron on July 12, 1968. Rob loved the outdoors and could often be found camping and fishing. An avid Cowboys fan, Rob considered Tony Romo to be his hero. He was a gifted handy man. He was always the first person to help someone who needed it. For the past several years, he worked with his mother in her pet grooming business. He was know as the "dog whisperer". Everyone who met Rob loved him. He will truly be missed. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Scotty Woods, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Marge Woods. He told Marge he loved her every single day. He is also survived by his siblings, Doug Woods, Monty (Dawn) Woods, and Kim (Chris) Pfleger; niece, Crystal Pearl and nephew, Shawn Paul; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including best friend, Tammy Lopez. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at any Huntington Bank for Rob through the Margarette Woods account to assist the family with final expenses.
