Seann M. Taylor (nee Sparrow)
Seann M. Taylor (nee Sparrow), 45, made her transition to heaven on February 16, 2010, at Akron City Hospital with her family by her side. Se-Se was born on July 18, 1964 to Joseph A. Sr., and Brenda J. Sparrow in Akron. She graduated from Stow High School in 1982 and went on to study to be a dental assistant. Seann had a special place in her heart for children and loved her niece and nephews. She will always be remembered for her sweet and kind heart and her ability to make you laugh. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Louise Sparrow. She is survived by her father, Joseph A. Sparrow, Sr.; mother, Brenda J. Sparrow; stepfather, Raleigh Helmacy; sister, Renee (Don) Parker; brother, Joseph A. (Jessica) Sparrow, Jr.; half brother, Greg Mealka; grandmother, Naomi McLeod; niece, Madison; nephews, Trevor, Preston, and Carter; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special thanks to cousin Julie DeVine for all her caring and kindness during Se-Se's illness. Calling hours will be Monday, 2-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with a funeral service at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interval Brotherhood Home, 3445 S. Main St. Akron, OH 44319.
