Sharon A. Wells

Sharon A. Wells, 65, passed away on June 7, 2011. She was born on August 16, 1945 to the late William and Maxine Harris. Sharon worked as an RN at Akron Children's Hospital for over 40 years. She enjoyed attending her grandson's sporting events, her trips to go "ka-chingin", and performing as Bubbles the clown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Ryan. Survivors include daughters, Tara Vanadia and Melissa Wells; the joys of her life, grandsons, Nicolas and Samuel; sisters, Brenda (Willard) Kitzmiller and Kay Pruet; nephews, Jeff Pruet and Bobby Gibas. The family would like to thank the staff of Cooper Cancer Center for their loving care and support. Calling hours will be Saturday, 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
