Sharon Lee Decrance

Sharon L. DeCrance, age 81 of Brimfield, Ohio passed away on February 21, 2023. She was born on April 3, 1941 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late Donald A. and Ruby E. Crance.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Grosjean Sr. and brother Donnie DeCrance.
She was a graduate of Purdue University, College of Nursing, Ft. Wayne Campus. Additionally, she acted as Assistant to the Pharmacology Department Professor for several years. She then worked as an Emergency Department Nurse (CCRN) at hospitals in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and later Florida until she retired.
She is survived by her son Robert A. Grosjean Jr.; grandchildren Matt (Kelly) Miszewski, and Jonelle (Brandon) Porter; aunt Avis Fisher; cousins Brad and Shiela Fisher.
Sharon is best remembered by those who knew her as a strong and benevolent spirit. She always gave of herself to family, and all of the people she touched throughout her life. She will be missed very much.
Per Sharon's wishes cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
Sharon's family would like to express their deep appreciation to her compassionate caregivers at Summa-Akron City Hospital. And to Dr. Todd Rafferty.
