Sharon M. Ryan, age 78, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died on April 18, 2022 at her home.
She was born on October 14, 1943 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Herman and Ruth (nee Burton) Sweisthal.
Sharon was primarily a homemaker, however, she did have several different jobs that she held throughout her life. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to make different crafts and fish.
Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Ryan, whom she married on Sweetest Day, October 12, 1974; her children, John (Paul) Matea, Richard Matea, David Matea Angela (Shawn) Moore and John (Kelly) Ryan; her grandchildren, Cody Heldman, Breanna (Steven) Babcock, Kayla (Ryan) Mchan, David Matea, Addison Yoder and Conner Yoder; and one great-granddaughter, Quinn Babcock.
Her two brothers are also surviving, Carl Sweisthal and Raymond (Amy) Sweisthal.
Other than her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her two brothers, Matthew Sweisthal and William Sweisthal.
All services will be private and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
