Sharon V. Wheeler

Sharon V. Wheeler, age 81, of Tallmadge, left this life on October 7, 2022.
She was born in Lost Creek, West Virginia on August 29, 1941 the daughter of the late Chester and Virginia (nee Goodnight) Nutter.
Sharon was a homemaker and an Avon Sales Rep for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family playing bingo and her cat named Kitty.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Wheeler on December 26, 2020, they were united in marriage in October of 1960; her brother, Larry Nutter and her sister, Nancy Echard.
Survivors include her two loving sons, John Michael (Robin) Wheeler and Eric (Johnna) Wheeler; her step-granddaughter, Carey Bradley; grandsons, Corey and Carter; granddaughter, Katie (Josh) Foltz; great-granddaughter, Elaina; sisters-in-law, Candy and Darlene; her best friend, Sandy Quintrell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sharon's family would like to thank the staff of the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center for all of their compassion and support that they gave to Sharon while she was there.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305 on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
A double memorial service for her and her husband, John, will follow at 4:00 PM on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center.
