Sharon Marie Wymer

Sharon Marie Wymer, age 68, of Brimfield, Ohio, died peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on March 12, 2021.
She was born on November 7, 1952 in Ravenna, Ohio, the daughter of the late Glen E. and Marie E. (nee Shaffer) Davis.
Sharon was a highly skilled machinist and was very proud of her work. She worked at Bird Electronics in Solon for more than 30 years and made many life-long friends throughout her working career. She was an avid music lover and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her greatest joy and love of her life was her grandson, Ian.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gary Wymer; her daughter, Chryse Wymer (James Hyde); her grandson, Ian Hyde; her siblings, Glen A. Davis, Joy Stevens and Gail (Roger) Pittman; and numerous other family and friends that mourn her loss.
Other than her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Davis; two brothers-in-law, Keith Stevens and John Wymer.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Troy Bishop, who has been an angel on earth to our entire family; and to Kindred Hospice and First Light Home Health Agency for their care and compassion shown to Sharon.
Per Sharon's request, there will be a private Celebration of Life.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Greater Akron, 2858 West Market Street, Unit L, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 or by calling them at 330-940-1441.
