Shawn D.R. Blumer

Shawn D. R. Blumer, age 24 of Akron, Ohio, died on March 20, 2016 at his home.
He was born on January 22, 1992 in Barberton, Ohio, the son of Barbara Blumer Chapman of Akron, and the late Michael Blumer.
Shawn was employed with Empire Tire in Tallmadge as a laborer. He also did roofing as well as many construction jobs. Shawn was a fanatic with UFC-MMA.
Other than his mother, Shawn leaves behind his step-father, Delmas Chapman; his siblings, Nadyne Blumer of Akron, and Michael Blumer-Sprouse of Huntington, WV, and two nieces; his step-sister, Jessica Chapman, and his step-brother, Justin Chapman.
Memorial services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Condolences may be sent to Shawn's family online at www.newcomerakron.com
