Shawn L. Phillips

Shawn Lamont Phillips was born on October 8, 1970, in Akron, Ohio to Brenda Crumbley {Phillips-Palmer}. Shawn transitioned to the next life on December 28, 2022 from heart failure. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1988. Shawn was a lifetime resident of Akron, OH.

Shawn was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Shawn's passions were fishing, good music, and skating. You could always find him skating in the west side parades. Shawn kept a smile on everyone's face with his antics and knew how to have a good time. He worked as a carpet installer and warehouse employee with Regal Carpet for roughly 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Crumbley {Phillips-Palmer}.

Shawn is survived by his three wonderful children; Brianna Campbell, Shawn Jr. Campbell and Kendra Phillips, siblings; Tony Phillips {Caryn}, Timothy (Tee) Phillips, Gary {Patricia} Phillips-Wyatt and Tonya {Vincent} Phillips-Parham, stepfather, Robert Palmer, Aunt Beverly, Uncle Ronie, Uncle Mike, the Anderson family, and a host of nieces and nephews, but to Shawn everyone was his family and all will miss him dearly.
