Shelagh Ann Kennedy

Shelagh Ann Kennedy (Raymond) went home to be with the Lord after a lengthy battle with cancer surrounded by family on February 11, 2018. She was born in Akron on February 12, 1947 to George and Winifred Raymond. She was a caring and feisty woman who loved her family unconditionally. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Rodney Kennedy; sons, Robert John and Rodney Jr.; brother, Mark Raymond; and sister, Carol Warford.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her daughters, Esther and Susan Kennedy; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Trisha, Daniel (Curtis), Cody, Luke, Brianna (Gordon) and loving boyfriend, Joe Sanguedolce. Family will greet friends on Saturday February 17, 2018 from 10-1pm with the memorial service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Burial service will be on Monday February 19, 2018 at 12noon at Rose Hill Burial Park.
