I Want To Go To Heaven
Oh, Heaven must be beautiful,
Someday I'm going home.
I closed my eyes to picture it
And stepped up onto God's big throne.
I took one look into His face
And how His eyes did glisten.
Glorious music floated past my ears
As I did carefully listen.
The angel choir sang
"Praises, praises to the Lamb of God:
You dear one, have been
Redeemed by your Savior's blood."
I turned to glance down
The River of Life,
Jesus was coming
With those in purest white
They were all the
Redeemed forever more,
And the gates were closed
On the eternal shore.
I suddenly recalled
My loved ones on earth,
And choices they made
For the second birth.
Oh, ye of little faith,
Are ye outside the gate?
You didn't want my Jesus,
Now, it is too late!
