Shelia D. Coon

Shelia D. Coon, 49, passed away on September 5, 2019. Born in Washington, DC she had resided in the Akron area the past 20 years. Shelia lived an adventurous life that was full of spontaneity, loved the outdoors, enjoyed coloring vibrant pictures, cooking for others and loved her grandkids.

Preceded in death by mother, Glenna; infant son, Zachary, she will be sadly missed by daughters, Crystle Eicke, Meighan Tackett and Haleigh Coon; grandchildren, Conner, Leah, Desi, Braylin, Cooper; parents, John and Rose Massey; significant other, Robert "Bobby" Hoge; siblings, Carolyn, Sheryll and Joe; nieces and nephews.

John and Rose loved her very much and will miss her dearly.

Family and close friends are invited to visit Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. The Celebration of Shelia's Life will immediately follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
