Shelley E. "Jack" Conner, Sr.
Shelley E. "Jack" Conner, Sr., 82, of Akron, passed away April 8, 2005 at Akron City Hospital. He was born May 19, 1922 in Everett, PA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Leona Conner; sons, Thomas R. Conner and Garry L. Conner; parents, Rhudolf & Rhoda (Taylor) Wolfe; brothers, Bill and Rhudolf Wolfe; and sister, Marjorie Weist. Jack is survived by his daughter, Diana F. Bole; sons, Shelley E. (Patricia) Jr. and Harry F. (Susan); 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Diehl; brother, Thomas (Joan) Wolfe; and brother-in-law, Rei Weist. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home with Rev. G. Rod Taylor officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service begins. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron OH 44333
