Shelley L. Minter
Shelley L. Minter, 37, passed away November 29, 2011 surrounded by many loving family members and friends. She worked at Bob Evans for 12 years where she had many loyal customers. Shelley loved to spend time with her children, and attending many of their sporting events. She was currently a student at the University of Akron majoring in computer communications where she made the Dean's List 3 years in a row. Shelley put on her ruby red slippers, and followed her yellow brick road home. Shelley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam Haddad, Martha Haddad, Jerry Haddad, Eva and Kenneth Price, and Okey Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 8 years, Demetrius; children, Huntre, and Demetrius (Papa) II; parents, Paul and Gerry Williams; sister, Tammie Williams; brothers, Sam (Teresa) Sprouse, Thomas (Laina) Sprouse, and Paul (Jenny) Williams; in-laws, Cassandra Wilson, and Marvin Minter; many loving nieces and nephews; many loving aunts and uncles; and her special crew of G Girls. Calling hours will be held Monday, December 5, from 4 to 7 pm at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3204 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, 44333, where a service will be held Tuesday at 11 am, with a visitation 1 hour preceding, with Fr. Louis Mahshie officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Church in the name of the Shelley Minter Fund.
