Shelley M. Evans

Shelley M. Evans, 56, of Kent, passed away July 30, 2014. She was born in Magnolia, Mississippi on November 15, 1957 to the late Claude and Littie Coney. Shelley was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who loved her family above all else. Community service was also a very important part of her life. She volunteered with many organizations including; Habitat for Humanity, MIC, and various church and community leadership roles.

In addition to her parents, Shelley was preceded in death by her Sister, Brenda, Brother, John, Brother, Ricky, Brother, Claude, Jr., and Brother, Eddie Coney. She will be dearly missed by her Son, Patrick Evans, Grandchildren, Breanna and Olivia, Sister, Edna, Brother, William and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral services to be arranged through Cook's Enterprise Funeral Home in McComb, MS. A local memorial service will be planned at a later date.
