Shelly Gayle (Grubbs) Nipper was born June 11th, 1959 and died August 25th, 2021. She took ill one week earlier, and was found deceased in the bed of her Kenmore home. She was loved: daughter, sister, wife, mother, and aunt. She had been involved at South Arlington United Methodist Church since she was a teen, and later became a Home-Maker. She had a soft spot for cats since she was old enough to walk, taking in any that came to her in need. She is survived by her sons Shawn and Dennis Nipper, sisters Connie Griffey, Dana Horner, and Ramona Warren as well as 7 nieces and nephews.
"Why am I a United Methodist Woman? It was not because I was asked, begged, or bugged. It was because I was NOSEY. My buddy and I heard a new group had formed and we hadn't been at South Arlington long. We thought it would be a good way to get to know some folks. My buddy and I enjoy doing things together and we discovered a new one. We discovered a LOVING, CARING, GETTING-THINGS-DONE GROUP. Once we checked in- we didn't check out." -Shelly Nipper
Cremation will be Performed by Newcomer, and a Graveside Memorial Service will take place Thursday August 9th at 11am at Lakewood Cemetery.
