On Thursday, October 10, 2013, Sheri Lynn Lynch went home to be with the Lord after a brief battle with cancer. Sheri is preceded in death by her father, Harold H. Harris. Sheri is survived by her husband, John M. Lynch; mother, Eleanor Harris; daughters, Carrie Burns and Kimberly Lynch; son, Richard "Mike" Lynch and daughter-in-law, Heather Lynch; grandchildren, Joseph and Sara Burns and Cohen and Kyler Lynch; great-grandson, Maximus Burns; siblings, Ann (Ken), Peggy (Ron), Brenda (John), Harold (Karen), Gilbert (Bonnie), Patricia, and Mark; along with special friends Dick Costilow and Marc Osgood.
Sheri was a generous, loving woman who was a mother and great friend to all who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her wonderful niece, Erica Cyc who never left her side and gave her comfort through the roughest times.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5:30-7:30 followed by a 7:30 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
