Sheryl D. Manthe (Petie Loue)

Petie Loue, 55, of Akron, found relief on March 17, 2009 from her many years of struggle and searching for inner peace. She was born October 29, 1953 in Akron and resided here all her life. Petie's passion was entering and playing in pool tournaments and being with her friends. She was a nanny for the last 10 years for Danielle H., whom she loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Richard A. and Donna J. Loue. She is survived by her sisters Susan Hoover, Sheila Moles, Sandra Gibson, and Sharon Maliff; numerous relatives; and many friends. Petie, you've crossed your bridge of troubled waters and will forever be loved and missed, especially your laugh. Calling hours will be Monday, 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
