Sheryl M. Miner

Sheryl M. Miner, 59, passed away January 28, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, she had residency in Florida and Ohio. She previously worked as a bartender and manager at Walmart and Save A lot. Sheryl enjoyed horses, teaching her cats new tricks, showing her grandkids the cha-cha slide, cooking holiday dinners and bon fires, bringing her garden to life, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Goss; stepbrothers Clarence Edge and David Edge. Sheryl will be sadly missed by her husband, Art Miner; children, Lisa (Erica Thomas), Bryan (Kirsten Martin), Jesse, Logan (Mandi Moore); stepchildren, Sharde and Alicia Miner; grandchildren, Hayliee, Rylon, Luke, Sophia, Noah, Vanessa, Konner, Josiah, Chaz, Neveah, Jesse Jr., Paxton; mother, Karen Kinney; siblings, Laurel (Robert) Hager, Ernest (Debbie) Goss, Timothy (Kelly) Goss, Cherie, Lori, Susie Kinney, Debbie Edge; stepmother Peggy Goss; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A Celebration of Sheryl's Life will immediately follow at the Bailey Road Tavern, 2920 Bailey Rd., Cuyahoga Falls.
