Shirley Fruth

Shirley Fruth, 87, passed away peacefully at home November 23, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Ronceverte, WV, she resided in the Akron, Ohio area as well as North Fort Myers, Florida all of her adult life. She enjoyed reading, sitting poolside with her friends, watching football games and spending time with her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jim; parents, John and Cleora (Fleishman) Wallace; sister, Betty Kelly; brother-in-law, John Kelly. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Sandy Haught, Lisa (Gary) Tindel; grandchildren, Ronnie (Shelby) Haught, Myrissa Irwin, Kaylie Irwin; great grandchildren, Avalyn, Colt, Gracie; several other family members.

Per Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date. Shirley will be reunited with her husband Jim at Rose Hill Burial Park. Those who wish, may make memorial donations in Shirley's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
