Shirley Anne Larson

Shirley Larson passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born on July 13, 1936 in Barberton, Ohio to Steve and Mary Bartok. She attended Copley schools where she met her high school sweetheart and was married on September 19, 1953. Shirley was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and enjoyed being outdoors with family and friends. She especially loved watching her grandchildren participate in different sporting events with that famous cow bell.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth K. Larson; sister, Mary (Jim) Johnson; and two nieces, Cynthia Samko and Stephanie Ley.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Patricia Larson, Ken (Cindy) Larson, Jackie (Scott) Huth and Valaree (Jason) Jones; grandchildren, Kenna Larson (fiance Noah), Kyle Huth, Eric (Missy) Larson, and Jacob and Jonathan Jones; niece, Jenifer (Scott) Markley; and great nephew and niece, Matt (Jackie) Markley and Jenna (Brandon) Mowrer.

Cremation has taken place and there are no formal services at this time.

Burial at East Akron Cemetery will take place at a later date.
