Shirley M. Peterhoff, 68, of Akron, passed away November 12, 2004 peacefully. She was born May 14, 1936 in Akron, Ohio and lived here all of her life. Shirley was a person who first and foremost loved her family, was always considerate of everyone and cared for others as well. She was well liked by all who came in contact with her. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Peterhoff and her parents, Jesse & Lorean (Whitman) Lamtman. She is survived by her son, Michael (Robin) Ambrose; daughter, Laura Peterhoff; grandsons, Michael Jr., Justin and Meagan; great-granddaughter, Makayla; brothers, Bud (Bonnie) Lamtman and Richard Lamtman; nephew, James (Vernice) Belka; many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Beulah Selman and Rev. Jerry Justices officiating. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to the family to help with expenses.
