Shirley M. Shovestull

Shirley M. Shovestull, 69, passed away on June 27, 2011. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Akron. Shirley loved her grandchildren, teaching children's Bible classes, cats, baking, and crafts. She was also a volunteer reading tutor and mentor at the Cuyahoga Falls public schools. Preceded in death by her husband, Allen; and parents, Ernest and Mildred Quesenberry. Survivors include sons, Gary (Diane), Kevin, and Keith (Diane); brother, Ernie Quesenberry; sister, Cathy (Tom) Eddy; grandchildren, Megan, Miranda, Caleb, and Hayes. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Burial Park in Twinsburg.
