Shirley A. Ruppel, age 83 of Akron went home to be with God and her husband, Albert on Saturday, December 5, 2020. She was born on December 15, 1936, the daughter of the late Daniel Stasick, Sr. and Mary (Nick) {Marty} Freiheit.
Shirley is survived by her children Kimi (Steve) Myers, Kerri Sunderland, Kelli Frase, Becki McCarty, Bill (Angie) Buck, Kathi (Al) Price and Rick (Theresa) Ruppel; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and 2 more on the way; many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a talented painter, selling over 500 of her masterpieces over the course of her life. She greatly enjoyed playing slot machines, bingo, and cards. Shirley loved her dogs and cats, and wearing hats. She was a die-hard Cavs fan, and loved her family more than anything else.
