Shirley A. Sacy, age 58 of Akron, Ohio, is walking again in Heaven on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born on June 11, 1959 in Fort Knox, KY, the daughter of Frank Zittle of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and the late Sandra (nee Mowery) Zittle.
Shirley graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1977. She was a beautician and a homemaker. She loved the outdoors and going to the Akron Zoo. Shirley loved gardening, flowers, and her dog-Chloe. Mrs. Sacy especially had a fondness for lions.
In addition to her father, other survivors include her loving husband, Ronald G. Sacy, Jr., whom she married on July 21, 1984; her only son, Michael Sacy; her aunt, Janet Huddleston; her husband's mother, Marilyn (nee Winters) Sacy, and her husband's brother, Mark Sacy; and a niece, Sophia Sacy; and many cousins and friends.
Other than her mother, Shirley was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Miller; and her father-in-law, Ronald G. Sacy, Sr.
Per Shirley's wishes there will not be any services or calling hours and cremation has taken place; all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Akron Zoo Animal Fund, 500 Edgewood Avenue, Akron, Ohio, 44307, in Shirley's memory.
