Shirley A. Taylor

Shirley A. Taylor passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born to the late Claude and Rachel Chandler on June 13, 1934 in Akron, Ohio. After schooling, she met and married Van Allen Taylor and together they had one son. She stayed home to raise their son and loved every moment of it. She also enjoyed boating, square dancing, crafting and going to garage sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; siblings, Coy Owens, Walter Chandler and Donna Maroney.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Rodney (Julie) Taylor; siblings, Jack (Judy) Chandler and Gene (Kathy) Chandler; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 6-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10am with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
