Shirley A. Way, 83, of Jackson Township, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.
Shirley was born in Akron to Henry and Helen Karnuth.
Shirley is survived by her children, Brad (Pam) Way, and Jerilee (Larry) Cain. She was a devoted "Gran" to grandchildren, Bubba (Hailey) Bell, Brian (Denise) Cain, Missi (Fiancé Matthew) Way, Ashley (Joe) Jaffe; and seven great grandchildren. Shirley was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gerald; grandson, Beau Way; and all her siblings.
Shirley retired from Ohio Bell in 1989.
Per the request of Shirley and her family, there will be no calling hours; cremation has taken place.
