Shirley A. Wolfe, 86, went Home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2021 with her family by her side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Charles and Marie (Talbert) Swick, she resided in the area most of her adult life. Shirley was a member of the former Akron Baptist Temple. She was a private person who enjoyed keeping a spotless home, watching Charles Stanley and John Hagee on TV and spending time with her beloved family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Earl Wolfe, Sr., daughter, Deborah Wolfe; 6 siblings. She will be sadly missed by her children, Karen Ayers, Susan (Jerry) Hensal, Earl (Linda) Wolfe, Jr., Robert Wolfe, Sherry Wolfe; 16 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 1:45 p.m. The family requests that those who wish to join, meet at the cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on that day. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Shirley's name to the Connect Church Building Fund.
