Sondra Kaye Grund, age 78 of Ravenna passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. She was born in Kent, OH on June 13, 1943 to the late Clarence and Clara {Rubel} Goodhart.
In addition to her parents, Sondra was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grund; sisters Imogene, LaVonne and Wanda.
Sondra will be dearly missed by her daughter Sharon (Ken) Thompson; grandchildren Jessica Lovejoy, Laticia (Troy) Tarr, Angela (Jake) Lalli and Dylan (Marie) Thompson; 7 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by additional family and friends.
Sondra had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses. She loved people, and enjoyed everyone she came in contact with. Sondra enjoyed singing in the choir at Springfield Church of the Brethren and Stow Glenn Nursing Home until her health declined. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
Per Sondra's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial visitation will take place at Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Ave., Akron, OH 44312 on Sunday, February 27, from 2:00 p.m. until the service begins at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Andrew Wenger officiating.
