Sonya P. Haire (Knight), 68, died September 21, 2005. Born in Seoul, Korea, she immigrated to the United States in 1967. Sonya had a Godly love of others and she never met a stranger. She opened her home to anyone in need and never judged people. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nichole Knight. Sonya is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Roger "Louie" & Jacqueline Knight, Jim & Stephanie Knight and Eugene Knight; husband, Gary Haire; grandchildren, Aubrie, Stacey, Jin, Isaac, Sarah, Jessica, Gabrielle, Brandon and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan and Alyssa. Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m. where Congregational Leader Grant Luton will conduct services Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
