Stanley E. Andrus
January 24, 1938 — March 6, 2022
Stanley E. Andrus, age 84 of Canal Fulton, joined his wife of 64 years, Sandra {Whitmyer} Andrus, age 83, in Heaven on Sunday, March 6, 2022, just two months after her passing on January 3, 2022.
Stanley retired from Goodyear after 35 years of service. He was a talented bowler, and for a time was part of several leagues. Stanley loved to hunt, and was a faithful watcher of Jeopardy!, trying to never miss an episode.
Sandra kept their home, raised their children Stan and Brenda, and loved to bake. She used her talents at local restaurants, creating delicious pies at Walker's, and Green Gables' famous chicken.
After retirement, Stanley and Sandra relocated to Malta, OH, and enjoyed a quiet life in the country.
Sandra and Stanley were preceded in death by Sandra's brothers Larry and Jerry Whitmyer, and their parents.
Both will be dearly missed by their children, Brenda Robinson and Stan (Janice) Andrus; grandchildren David and Kevin Robinson and Janelle and Russell Andrus; several great-grandchildren; Sandra's brother Jim Whitmyer; nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
