Stanley J."Jay" Francis

Stanley J. "Jay" Francis, 75, of Suffield, passed away on February 24, 2017. He was born in Barberton on March 17, 1941 to the late Stanley and Helen Francis.
He retired from Goodyear Aerospace and spent many years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Suffield Fire Department. Jay was a longtime member of Mogadore VFW 8487. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping in Tionesta, PA.
In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his sister, Maryann Hurst and granddaughter, Lindsay Catherine Francis. He will be deeply missed by his children, Michael (Laura) Francis, Pam (Chuck) Dearing, and Greg (Ruth) Francis; brother, Frank (Patty) Francis; grandchildren, Danielle, Kristin, Olivia, Sophia, Isabelle; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Jay's life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 3-6 p.m. at Mogadore VFW 8487, 385 Randolph Rd., Mogadore.
