Stella M. Pelc
Stella M. Pelc, 92, of Akron, passed away March 20, 2013. She was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on April 14, 1920 to the late Boleslaw and Anna Peplowski.
Stella will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. In her free time, she enjoyed bingo and word find books. Above all, she was devoted to her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; brothers, Michael and Henry Peplowski; and sister, Cecilia Boron. She is survived by her children, Frank (Karen) Pelc, Irene (Bill) Forshey, and Patti (Michael) Parker; grandchildren, Scott (Monica) Forshey, Kristal (John) Scarito, Jeff Pelc, and Christopher Parker; great-grandchildren, Mallory, Ryan, Jace, and Evan.
The family wishes to thank the staff members at Copley Health Care Center for their care and especially Dianna, who had a special place in her heart for Stella.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Parish, 1263 Shannon Ave, Barberton 44203. A private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery will take place after Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prince of Peace Parish.
