Steve Varga, 78, went home to the Lord on February 26, 2010. He was born in Hungary, and was a life time resident of Akron. Steve lived a full life enjoying fishing, family, friends, and was a member of the Hungarian-American Club. He is survived by his daughter, Irene (Brian) Beebe; grandchildren, Jessica, and Amanda; son, Steve Varga, Jr.; and daughter, Mary Archer. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 3, from 5 to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A memorial luncheon will be held Thursday, March 4, from 2 to 4 pm at the Hungarian-American Club, 694 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 13, at 1 pm at St. Bernard Church, 44 University Ave., Akron, Ohio, 44308.
