Steven M. Burge, Sr., "Steve", age 46 of Tallmadge, Ohio, died on April 15, 2017 at his home.
He was born on May 9, 1970, the son of Willa Anderson Burge of Tallmadge and the late Roy Burge.
Steven was a graduate of Tallmadge High School and was a mechanic. He enjoyed camping, motorcycles, and using the pontoon boat. He loved tattoos and cars. He had a favorite song, "Free Bird" by Leonard Skinnard.
Other than his mother, Steven was survived by his children, Steven M. Burge, Jr., Kaitlyn Burge, and Cyle Burge; one granddaughter, Nikki Burge; his former wife, Tammy Burge; and his siblings also survive, Kimberly Burge, Daniel Burge, and Kathy Triplett. Steve also had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that survive.
Other than his father, Steven was preceded in death by his brother, David Burge; and all of his grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at a later date, and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
