Steven E. Lynch
Steven E. Lynch, 50, of Akron, passed away April 11, 2009 after a short battle with cancer. Steven was employed at Forest Corporation. He was a hitting coach for Stow Softball, the head coach of the traveling softball team, the Tigerlillies, and in his free time enjoyed golfing and spending time with his children. Steven will be deeply missed by his daughter, Victoria Lynch; son, Jacob Lynch; mother, Jean Strawbridge; sisters, Melody (Jeffrey) Lenigar and Laura (Bruce) Kline; brother, William (Carolyn) Strawbridge; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Lynch and stepfather, William Strawbridge. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., Pastor Bruce Mont officiating. Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Steven's children.
