Steven E. Eitel

Steven E. Eitel, 73, passed away on December 4, 2022. He was born on February 7, 1949 the son of the late Edward and Rita Eitel. He was a architect and designed many buildings and beautiful homes. Steve enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting and recently was able to go on a hunting trip to Colorado. Steve was a loving man and rescued many Golden Retrievers. He was a proud member of GRIN (golden retrievers in need). He had so many accomplishments but his greatest was his love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy "Dotti" Eitel; children Erin (Mike) Brown, Sean (Michelle) Eitel, and Lance Baldwin; grandchildren Emma, Abigail, Brady, and Blake; sister Christine (Bob) Goodrich and family; beloved four-legged companion, AJ; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will take place on December 17th from 10:00am to 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will take place at 11:00am with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
