Steven Michael Meck

Steven Michael Meck, born April 22, 1996, died November 5, 2021.

Survived by his wife, Karisa Casto Meck; Parents, Amanda Vinson, Allen Vinson, Jeffrey Meck and Emily Meck; beloved uncles and aunts, Jack (Alicia) Meck, Stephanie Brown, Richard Powell, William (Brenda) Vinson, Lester (Ann) Vinson, Tina (Ron) Kosa, Christine (Richard) Crum, Kelly (Gary) Johnson, brother, Andrew Goldenetz, sisters, Amelia Powell, Beth Vinson and Helena Yeager. Mother-in-law, Rita (Tom) Kemp, father-in-law, Mike (Tricia) Casto, sisters-in-law, Andreana Casto, Kaitlyn Casto, Zoey Casto, and Tiffany Snyder, grandparents: Chuck (Maureen) Meck, Richard Powell, and Allen Vinson, Sr. Favorite cousins, John, Heather and Chris, who were more like siblings. Many other in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friends Derr, Larry, Adam, and Louis. As well as beloved pets: Kylo, Zuko, Vanity, Oreo and Iris.

Preceded in death by grandmothers, Priscilla "Jeannie" Powell, Mary Vinson, aunts, Nora Wells, Beth Vinson, uncle, David Kelly and great-grandmothers, Jeanne Cahill Hollern, and Alva Summers

Steven was a graduate of City of Akron North High school, class of 2014. He competed and won a national award for DECA. Attended Akron University on a STEM and DECA scholarship.

Steven most recently worked at Lowe's in Macedonia.

Steven loved playing video games, Dungeons and Dragons, and NFL Fantasy Football. Steven was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers, he enjoyed golfing and vacationing on Middle Bass and Hilton Head Islands. He was a joy to all he met in his short lifetime.

Family, friends, and coworkers are welcome to visit on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2-4 p.m., A service will follow at 4 p.m.
