Steven R. Gerhart, Sr. (Uncle Buck)
Steven R. Gerhart, Sr., 70, of Tallmadge, passed away August 28, 2010. He was a truck driver and retired from Connection after over 20 years of service. After retirement, he was a bus driver for Midway Lanes. He was preceded in death by his father, Gus; mother, Thelma; brother, Harry; aunts, uncles, nephews, and two cousins. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Angela (Troy), Steven Jr. (Amy), Leslie (Michael), Stephanie, Kimberly, and Donnie; siblings, Janey, Jimmy (Mary), and Edith; 14 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends, including Roaddog Eddie Powell and Mike Rusu. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
