Sue E. Barbe, 85, of Akron, passed away April 14, 2016. Sue was born in Akron, Ohio on December 5, 1930 to the late Marvin and Dorothy Tolson.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by sisters, Carol Smith, and Dorothy Joyce Warner; and brother, Jay Tolson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Wendell Barbe; children, Pamela (Jim) Smith, Becky (Jerry) Bringman, Wendy (Milton) Yoder, Melody (Greg) Jenkins, and Cecil Barbe; sister, Gwendolyn Girard; brother, Donald Tolson; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:30 am at Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron, OH 44306. Private burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
