This Christmas, Sue will spend with her Lord and Savior in her new home. Sue Best, 76, passed away on December 21, 2009. She was born on November 20, 1933 to the late Elliott and Lee Emma Melton. Sue retired from Ellet IGA after 15 years of service. She had previously been employed at Brimfield and Ravenna Sparkle Markets. Sue was a member of UFCW Local 880 and enjoyed working in her garden and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Survivors include daughter, Theresa Frank; sons, William (Carrie) and Chet (Debbie) Best; sisters, Leatrice and Imogene Melton and Kathleen Propst; grandchildren Renée and John Frank III, Amanda, Ryan, Caley, and Dylan Best; numerous and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, 3-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Monday at Noon. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
