Sue C. Swesey
Sue C. Swesey, 69, of Akron, passed away suddenly on March 14, 2006. Sue loved and was active in country and western music, and was well-known locally as a singer in various bands. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Swesey; parents, Frank and Loy Coffman; and sister, Peggy Stefan. She will be deeply missed by her children, Ed Wolfe, Leanna Rhoades (Dan), and Sandi and Dave Golias; stepchildren, Samuel Swesey, Dan (Becky) Swesey, and Helen Rothell; grandchildren, David M. (Christa), Daniel, Drew, and Sami Jo Golias, Amber and Taylor Wolfe, and Breann Rhoades; great-grandson, Devon Golias; niece, Tami (Cy) Werner; nephew, David Gibson; and stepsister, Norma (Ed) Flack. The family would like to give special thanks to the Summit Renal Group for all the care given to Sue. Family and friends may call TODAY from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
