Susan Jean Hoover

Susan Jean Hoover, 68, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024, just one day after her birthday. Born in Akron, Ohio to Richard and Donna Loue, she resided in the Akron area all of her life except for a period of time in Texas. She previously worked as a home health aide. Sue enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching Everybody Loves Raymond, her dog Scoot and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her sisters, Sandra Gibson, & Sheryl Manthe. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Eric Asher (Alexandria), David Hoover, Dustin Hoover (Bridget); grandchildren, Ally, Gabby, Braxton, David III; sisters, Sharon Malliff, Sheila Moles; niece, Nicole Gibson; 2 great nieces, Sa'Rae, Izabell; 4 great nephews, Cayden, O'Shea, Cole, Carter; 3 great great nieces, Alivia, Lillian, Violet.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, January 15, 2024 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
