Susan K. Peters, "Sue", age 75 of Akron, Ohio, died on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 12:35 AM.
She was born on September 24, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (nee Cook) Poth.
Sue was a graduate of Perry High School in Massillon. Sue was a home health aid, working for various companies in the Akron area. She enjoyed spending time with her best friend, "Rocky", her dog. She also enjoyed baking and watching her daily soap operas, however, her greatest joy was spending time with her two granddaughters, Cecelia and Kaitlin Peters.
In addition to her two granddaughters, Susan is survived by her loving husband, John H. Peters Sr, whom she married 45 years ago; and her only beloved son, John H. Peters Jr.
Graveside services will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:30 AM, where Pastor Joel Cochran will celebrate Susan's life.
Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM before processing to the cemetery for services.
