Sylvia L. Little
Sylvia L. Little, 73, passed away at Akron City Hospital Hospice after a brief illness. Sylvia was a housewife for 29 years and devoted to her husband, Glen. She attended the Green Valley United Methodist Church and was active in the Humane Society. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Harriett; aunts, Mildred and Mary; and uncle, Martell. She will be missed by her loving husband of 29 years, Glen; her children, Cindy, Linda (Kurt), Steve (Sharon), Mary (Jeff), and Elaine;her stepchildren, Cathy (Everett), Lori (Robert), and Joanne (Dan); sister, Diane; brother, Mark; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved dog, Gracie. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital for all their care. Per Sylvia's wishes, there will be no calling hours or flowers. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Green Valley United Methodist Church, 620 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron, 44319.
