Tabitha Nicole "Tabby" McKenzie
Tabitha Nicole "Tabby" McKenzie, 20, was blessed with the freedom to breathe easy on May 13, 2010. Tabby loved animals, especially dolphins and her precious kittens that she helped bring into the world. She also loved music, singing, and drawing. Tabby had a very generous heart and would do anything to help others. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Brewer. Survivors include her parents, Jim and Veronica McKenzie and Kathy Brewer; sisters, Christel, Priscilla, and Dara; brother, Josh; "Mamaw", Emma; and many other special family members, friends, and extended family at Children's Hospital. Calling hours will be Sunday, 12-2 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Akron Children's Hospital.
